Where do we get our marriage license?
To legally marry in Hampton Roads, Virginia, couples must obtain a marriage license from the city’s Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. Walk-ins are welcome, and your license is valid for 60 days from the date it’s issued.
If you don’t live in Hampton Roads or Virginia, we recommend contacting your local county’s Circuit Court Clerk for specific requirements before your appointment.
Can we do a “first look” at PPI?
At Paper, Petals & Ink, we want your experience to feel special and stress-free. While a traditional aisle “first look” isn’t available inside the Bloom Room, we encourage couples to plan a beautiful reveal with their photographer beforehand.
If you book photography through PPI, a first look can be scheduled at the beginning of your reserved time. Many Hampton Roads couples also choose to capture their moment at their hotel or just outside the Bloom Room before stepping inside for the ceremony.
